If I had to rate it as a reboot I would give it an 8/10, if I review it as a sequel, I am sorry fanboys but I have to go with a 3/10.The average brings us to a 5.5/10.
It's called episode VII but its clearly a well directed HD Remake of episode IV. And did they ever! Score : I really don't know how to score this movie. Throughout the screening I could not comprehend whether I am witnessing a comedic reboot or a pathetic attempt at a sequel, the writers of which succumbed to the pressure of the atomic hype and fear of offending the crazy fanboys by actually daring to implement new and unique ideas. Abrams' take on Episode 7 was going to take tips from the original trilogy, I did not expect it to take literally all of them. I did see both trilogies more than 1 time and I did enjoy them both greatly ( exception would be episode II), however walking out of the local mall theater on a cold December evening and having just watched Episode 7, a nibbling itch inside my head kept asking - "What did I just watch?".
